Boarding can be a very stressful time for both your dog & owner.  I offer in home boarding where your dog gets to stay with me in my home just as one of my dogs would!!  We love our clients like they are our own dogs so whether your dog just needs to stay while you're away or if they are here for training we offer not just structure & discipline but the comfort & lots of furry friends to play with!  Your dog will be kenneled when unsupervised, for meal time, & bed time. We ask that you supply your dog's food so there aren't any upset tummies and a copy of your dog's annual vaccinations. I supply beds, bowls, toys & love!

 When your dog isn't enjoying the comfort of their kennel they get to enjoy the comforts of being "at home" and for playtime we have a safe, fenced 1 acre dog yard with a doggie pool!! Big Shoes To Fill

Meet Kolt. He is my new demonstration dog. He will be taking Tyson's place now that Ty is on retirement & enjoying the lazy life of sleeping in sunbathing out in the pastures. Kolt will be trained to do everything I train for including: Basic through Advanced obedience, personal protection, personal assistance, scent discrimination as well as accompanying me to children's hospitals and being an all around good ambassador for strong breeds with a heart of gold & personality to follow.  This little guy, now 6 months old, has big shoes to fill being Ty's protege.

Back By Popular Demand!!

As hard as it can be to keep up with this blog, my friends & clients have been asking for it for quite some time! So my early New Years resolution is to be better about keeping up with posting about the fun adventures of me & my training clients!!  So to kick this off right......

Meet Cooper! He is a 4 month old German Short Hair Pointer.  He has done excellent over his first week of training. He flew right through all his basic commands of walking nicely in a heel at my left side, sitting when we stop, holding his sit & down commands, come when called on the leash, & staying on his place command. We started his off leash this week & he's definitely wanting to challenge a little more now that there's more distance between us as well as more distractions.  Stay tuned in for more on this cutie!

JACK!

This handsome boy is Jack. He is a 1 year old Black Labrador Retriever. He is here for the Advanced Obedience as well. He is a stubborn little fella but coming along nicely none the less. He definitely keeps me on my toes. His favorite part of the day is playtime....imagine that :) He & Cooper are the best of buds.

My little friend Charlie here has been here for my Advanced Obedience and socialization.  He is a bit of a nervous nelly but he's finding his way & coming out of his shell beautifully! He should be ready to show his family his new skills next week!

November's Trainees!!

These little cuties are Peekaboo & Pioneer. They are 4 month old English Setters.  They are here for Advanced Obedience.  Don't let their cute looks fool you; they are giving me a run for my money :) Separated they great but together they try to destroy & conquer....so to speak.  They have completed their basic obedience thus far & we have started their off leash work and working on their distraction proofing.  More updates on these cutie pies to come! 

Belle & Loulou are 5 & 6 months old. They are here for my Advanced Obedience as well. They are doing wonderful in their progression with training but need a little more work with their distractions & holding their commands.  Peekaboo & Pio are their best friends and I can always find these 4 getting into mischief :-)

The Next Generation!

These beautiful pups are my service pups in training and Obedience trainee Indy.  They are between the ages of 5-6 months & are working their way through their obedience right now before they start being trained for their specific job.

Finn and All His Sass

Finn is coming close to the end of his 3 weeks of Advanced Obedience.  He is doing excellent but still has a little attitude I'd like to have resolved before he greets his family.  He has excelled in his obedience & has a huge desire to please 98% of the time..... but then there's that 2% of the time where he likes to do a little protest.  He loads up in the car & rides without a hitch now.  We can play ball and not worry about him running off to explore and ignore.  He has made tons of friends. He greets people nicely, without losing his mind. So, he might be well on his way to do therapy work with his mom after all!

Peanut Detector Lily-Belle

Service dog in training, Lily-Belle, is coming along nicely.  In just a few more weeks she will be a dual purpose Service K9 for her little girl, Meghan.  She will be a seizure companion as well as a peanut detection K9.  Meghan and Lily will be featured in the Suwanee Newspaper this month to share their wonderful story.

Marley Is Home

Marley is home!! She did great.  We still have a little to work on with her family but she is well on her way to filling those big shoes her sister before her left behind!

 This sweet face is Charlie.  A one year old Hound/Lab/Pitt Mix.  He is a rescue that has been with me for a few months learning his manners and completing my Advanced Obedience!!  He needs an active owner with a yard.  He needs an owner that can maintain his high need for structure & discipline as well as love.  He is good with kids, cats that are used to dogs, & dogs that aren't challenging.  He is crate trained but still a little too puppy & full of mischief to be left unattended in the house.  He loves to ride in the car and meet new people.  He is a very friendly guy but again he needs the right kind of owner.  When he came to me he was a little too big for his britches and lacked any respect for people or other animals. He is available with an adoption fee which includes training for his new owner.
