Max's Last Day

Today is my little Maximus' last day :o(  And of course in true Max form, he's being a pill this morning.  We'll work on polishing up his on & off leash commands this morning & this afternoon it will be up to Max to show off his new skills!!  Here's a little of Max working this morning......

Nadine Update :o)

Miss Nadine is coming right along.  She's learned all the Basic Obedience commands - heel with auto-sit, sit (stays) down at my side, down(stays), & come with auto-sit.  Now it's just polishing the commands, adding some distractions and teaching her to hold her commands for some time.  This is where she is having the biggest issues.  She is too sweet for words & wants to be right by my side....all the time. She'll do the command, I'll walk away, to try to return to her after a short period of time & by then she's already ran to my side.  We're working through it.  She has make great friends and plays super well with everyone.  I think the pollen is bothering her eyes as much as mine today though. :o( She is acting fine, she just rubs them every once in a while & they look a little watery than normal.  We'll see how she is tomorrow.  So her progress so far has been okay; I'd give her a B.  We'll see how her next few days go with the added distractions & holding her commands.  Happy Friday!!

Little Maximus

Little Max is nearing the end of his stay with me.  He's definitely keeping me on my toes & I find myself always having to be one step ahead of him.  Everyday it seems he has a new trick up his sleeve.  He will also be returning in the near future for some boarding so that will be a great opportunity for me to continue keeping him in shape.  His morning workouts always seem to be the best because he knows food is to follow.....haha, stinker.  We have a field trip to Petsmart planned today (pending truck repairs) & a park visit this weekend.  He has started *trying* to play the catch me if you can game again lately so we need to get to the bottom of that....which I thought we were....That's Max for ya ;o)
